Objects of desire IX
I've loved Clark's Desert Boots, ever since I lived in Sydney and went to Asquith Boys' High School, back in the mid '70's.
Since they're made out of suede leather, all you need is a stiff brush and a bit of determination of a sunday morning, to bring them back to new. If you haven't impregnated them with ScotchGuard or some other aerosol-based leather waterproofing, stuff them full of loose balls of yesterday's paper and you'll be dandy the very next day.
Anyhoo, I found these babies in a shop called Lester, on Södra Larmgatan in Göteborg. They will be my next indulgence.

I like how the Union Jack becomes an arrow in these photos.
